Work Environment

This position entails working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, offering a conducive environment designed for optimal patient recovery. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and physicians, all dedicated to fostering an enriching and healing atmosphere for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, formulating tailored rehabilitation plans that align with their specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement treatment techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various modalities, focusing on pain alleviation and functional restoration.
• Provide essential guidance and education regarding postoperative care and effective injury prevention strategies to empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and surgeons, to devise integrated care plans that enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients about proper body mechanics, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications that contribute to long-term health and recuperation.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment progress notes, and rehabilitation plans, adhering to regulatory guidelines and best practices.
• Stay updated with advancements in orthopedic physical therapy methodologies to continuously improve the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at our center predominantly consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, such as knee and hip replacements, as well as those suffering from chronic pain, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our team is dedicated to supporting these patients every step of the way, fostering their recovery through expert care and motivation.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current active Physical Therapist license in California.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to applying evidence-based practices.
• Effective communication and strong collaborative skills to work successfully within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or related areas.
• Experience in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting is highly valued.
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Our benefits include:
