Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to understand their physical capabilities and limitations related to orthopedic conditions, ensuring a personalized approach to each treatment plan.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs that are aligned with patient goals, medical history, and therapeutic outcomes related to mobility enhancements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, challenges, and updates on therapy protocols.
• Document all patient interactions in accordance with regulatory standards, payer requirements, and clinical best practices, ensuring accuracy and compliance in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises to perform at home, ensuring continuity of care and maximizing rehabilitation outcomes.
• Ensure that all physical therapy equipment is maintained cleanly and safely, ready for patient use, according to industry standards.
• Uphold the company's Code of Business Conduct and adhere to all compliance and professional standards to foster a culture of integrity and professionalism.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will specifically work with patients facing challenges from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. A considerable focus will be placed on restoring patient functionality and independence through targeted therapeutic interventions. We prioritize developing rapport and trust with patients to facilitate an effective rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapy license in California, in good standing.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) for insurance billing and reimbursement.
• Strong knowledge of current evidence-based practices in physical therapy, especially related to orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and motivate patients and families.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, yet collaboratively as part of a healthcare team to achieve comprehensive patient care objectives.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience specializing in orthopedic physical therapy and sports rehabilitation.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful treatment plans that result in positive patient outcomes.
• Experience with home-based physical therapy with a focus on safety, adaptability, and patient comfort.

Compensation and Benefits
