As part of this role, you’ll provide essential speech and language services to a caseload of approximately 40 students in 11th and 12th grades. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals, and offer targeted therapy designed to support these students’ success both inside and outside the classroom. Your expertise will help prepare them for life after high school, ensuring they have the tools and skills needed for their next steps.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting
• Experience supporting high school students highly valued
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Excellent organization and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy within a senior high school setting
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Develop measurable, meaningful IEP goals and document progress
• Collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, administrators, and families to coordinate services and support
• Maintain thorough records and adhere to all state and district guidelines
