Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and related mental health concerns.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing both addiction and any underlying co-occurring mental health issues.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with treatment team members to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each client.

• Ensure accurate documentation of client progress and treatment interventions in adherence to regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on individuals struggling with substance abuse, as well as those who may have co-occurring mental health disorders. Clients may range from those in the early stages of recovery to those who have faced multiple relapses. The therapist will be integral in guiding them through their individualized recovery journeys and fostering resilience, coping strategies, and life skills necessary for maintaining sobriety.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid mental health license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or a PsyD (Doctor of Psychology).

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.

• Specialized training or significant experience in addiction counseling is highly preferred.

While a minimum of two years of post-degree experience in a clinical setting is required, experience in substance abuse treatment specifically is strongly preferred. The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials.
