Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions that focus on strengthening relationships and improving mental well-being.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and regular follow-ups to gauge client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed.

• Develop individualized therapeutic strategies based on clients' unique situations, strengths, and support systems.
\n
• Assist clients in navigating life's challenges, such as health crises, relational hardships, and job loss, fostering coping mechanisms that lead to positive outcomes.

• Research and advocate for community resources, helping clients access vital services like childcare, healthcare, and social support.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to children and families, ensuring sensitive and effective treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, particularly focusing on individuals and families impacted by mental health disorders and substance abuse. Your work will involve fostering understanding and healing between couples and within family units, empowering your clients to build healthier relationships and improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Current and active California licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with no restrictions, suspensions, or probation.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing therapeutic mental health services.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to create a calming and supportive environment conducive to open dialogue and healing.

Compensation and Benefits\n
