This full-time position focuses on providing vital support and intervention services to infants and toddlers from birth to three years who are at risk for developmental delays. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of developmental milestones for infants and toddlers, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate each child’s needs.
• Provide direct intervention services that encompass evidence-based child development activities tailored specifically for children aged 0-3 and their families.
• Co-create Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with defined goals and actionable strategies that promote the child’s growth and reflect family priorities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, assessments, and reports to track family development and service outcomes.
• Engage in both individual and group therapies designed to foster progress in cognitive, adaptive, social-emotional, and communication skills for children at risk.
• Assess family and child strengths, needs, and concerns to design individualized intervention strategies.
• Act as a service coordinator, ensuring effective scheduling and monitoring of intervention strategies, supporting families through the process.
• Facilitate meaningful parent-child interactions that enhance caregiver skills and child development advocacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves infants and toddlers, ages birth to three years, who present developmental delays or are at risk. You will directly engage with families to build strong therapeutic relationships rooted in trust and empathy, ensuring that family values, cultural backgrounds, and unique needs inform our approach to early intervention services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work and a current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) credential.
• Demonstrated understanding of early childhood development principles and family systems theory.
• Ability to form meaningful therapeutic connections with clients and families while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in document management and interpersonal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to culturally responsive care and individualized service delivery.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for community visits.

Compensation and Benefits
