Work Environment

This position allows for a fully remote work setting, giving you the flexibility to deliver therapy from the comfort of your home. You will primarily conduct counseling sessions via secure video chat, enabling you to engage effectively with clients in a detox center. The remote environment is complemented by access to our digital resources and support systems, ensuring that you can provide comprehensive care without the usual administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one virtual counseling sessions, facilitating productive discussions focusing on clients’ thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, followed by the development and modification of personalized treatment plans.
• Implement key interventions based on evidence-based practices, ensuring that you are utilizing the latest methodologies in clinical social work.
• Advocate for clients, assisting them in establishing and achieving realistic goals for their personal development, recovery, and mental wellness.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, substance abuse counselors, and case managers, to share insights and provide a holistic approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with individuals at a detox center, who are navigating various challenges related to substance use and mental health. You will provide support to a diverse clientele, which may include those struggling with addiction, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Your role is crucial in creating a safe space for clients to explore their vulnerabilities and develop coping strategies essential for their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from a recognized and accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proven experience in clinical social work, particularly in assessment, diagnosis, and creation of treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Comfortable and proficient in using technology platforms for telehealth services and documentation procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with populations in detox programs or similar mental health settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and treatment planning software.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 52,000 – 70,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, our benefits package includes:
