Work Environment

This position is onsite at our well-equipped clinic within a hospital setting. Our facility is designed to support both clinical and cosmetic dermatological procedures, and it features the latest technology and tools to promote successful patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Practice within the scope defined by the supervising physician, ensuring compliance with relevant clinical guidelines.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for diverse dermatological conditions.
• Manage a patient load of over 30 patients per day, utilizing the EMA Electronic Health Record (EHR) system for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• Coordinate treatment plans with medical staff and provide necessary guidance and direction to clinic personnel.
• Perform dermatological procedures including but not limited to biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy with precision and care.
• Educate patients about skin health, treatment options, and ongoing care plans to support their overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population, ranging from young adults with acne to older patients seeking treatment for skin cancer. The ideal candidate will approach each patient with compassion, ensuring that their individual concerns are addressed thoughtfully. You will also play a crucial role in educating patients about prevention and management of skin conditions, which is integral to enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in dermatology as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Nurse Practitioner state license in Texas.
• Completed a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a focus on dermatology or a related field.
• Current board certification as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (DNP-BC) or an equivalent credential.
• Expertise in dermatological procedures, along with an understanding of the latest treatments and technologies in dermatology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with diverse patient populations and team members.
• Familiarity with documentation practices and Electronic Health Record systems, specifically EMA.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in both cosmetic and medical dermatology is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Demonstrated involvement in patient education initiatives or community outreach programs focused on dermatological health.
• Experience in utilizing telehealth solutions for patient consultations.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 125,000 to 190,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
