Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assists in various human resources plans and procedures for all facility employees; assists in development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual

2. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems

3. Conducts recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt staff; post positions and move candidates through the hiring process.

4. Completes background checks and verify credentials.

5. Presents HR presentation at new-employee orientations;


6. Handles employee relations on-boarding, counseling and exit interviewing

7. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars

8. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.


9. Responsible or PBJ quarterly reporting.

10. Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database

11. Attends and participates in in-service training

12. Guides management and employee actions; supports management by providing HR advice, counsel and decisions
