Premier Health and Wellness Center in Morristown, New Jersey, is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our outpatient facility in Morristown, NJ, where we emphasize a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere. Our state-of-the-art clinic features modern equipment and resources designed to facilitate effective treatment plans. You will work closely alongside other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, ensuring an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility to accommodate specific patient needs and clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities designed to promote physical well-being and alleviate pain, utilizing advanced techniques and modalities.
• Provide education on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise programs to empower patients in their recovery process.
• Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy as needed, under the supervision of senior Physical Therapists.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall function while adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Ensure treatment areas are prepared and organized, with all necessary equipment and supplies readily available for sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
• Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports patients emotionally throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, always maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding their rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population spanning various age groups, from pediatric to geriatric clients, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. Our patients often include individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or recuperating from sports and accident-related injuries. Your ability to customize care will directly impact their healing process, fostering trust and engagement.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, candidates with specialized training in modalities relevant to our services will receive preference. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and patient management software is a plus, as it enhances our operational efficiency and patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
