Make a positive impact working with young learners in a Special Education Pre-K setting. This full-time opportunity is available immediately and continues through May 21st, 2027. You'll work 37.5 hours per week, supporting children ages 3-5 who have diverse needs, including those who are non-verbal or have emerging communication abilities. Your expertise will be a key asset in guiding their early development at a dedicated educational facility near La Fayette, GA.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Certificate
• Special and General Education endorsements covering Pre-K age groups
• Experience with preschool Special Education populations preferred
• Ability to assist with toileting, diapering, and feeding support
• Compassion for working with non-verbal and low-verbal children
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction and support to meet individual education plans (IEPs) for Pre-K students
• Offer hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including toileting and feeding
• Utilize alternative communication techniques for non-verbal learners
• Collaborate with support staff and families to ensure consistent care and progress
• Manage varying behaviors with patience, structure, and positive reinforcement
• Track student progress and participate in team meetings and IEP reviews
