Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent advanced-level clinical expertise as a Nurse Practitioner, delivering ongoing care and education to women and their families.
• Manage a diverse range of medical conditions, including chronic disease management, routine health assessments, and acute or critical care situations, utilizing standardized protocols to ensure high-quality care.
• Perform both non-invasive and invasive procedures as necessary, including options tailored towards women's health, such as Pap smears, biopsies, and family planning procedures.
• Make autonomous patient management decisions, consulting with attending physicians and other team members when cases require additional insight or teamwork.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource for healthcare providers, including nursing staff and residents, mentoring them in best practices and clinical protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will focus primarily on diverse populations of women, providing healthcare services that span across adolescence, reproductive age, and post-menopausal years. You will be instrumental in addressing specific health issues, such as prenatal care, reproductive health, menopause, and preventive screenings. Your expertise will empower patients to take charge of their health and wellness, providing them with the tools and education necessary for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or PhD in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association.
• DEA certification must be obtained within three months of hire.
• Strong clinical experience, including at least one year as an outpatient Nurse Practitioner in the specialized field of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate and connect with patients.
• Self-motivation and strong organizational skills are essential for managing the independent responsibilities of this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in hospital settings and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Proven track record in clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Additional certifications relevant to women’s health would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
