Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced-level nurse practitioner clinical expertise and holistic care to a diverse patient population, focusing on preventive care, wellness, and health education.
• Manage a range of health issues including chronic stable medical conditions, offering routine care, acute medical attention, and implementing specialized protocols such as chemotherapy for patients with cancer.
• Perform various procedures including both non-invasive treatments and surgical interventions, ensuring patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
• Independently make clinical judgments regarding patient care, consulting with other healthcare professionals as necessary to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff and medical residents, sharing knowledge and enhancing the overall team’s clinical performance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on women of all ages, from adolescence through menopause and beyond. Your commitment to understanding their unique healthcare needs will help guide clinical decisions and ensure that each patient receives personalized care designed to meet their specific health goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP), or PhD in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses for the state of New York.
• Recent AHA BLS/CPR certification.
• DEA certification must be obtained within the first three months of employment.
• Proven experience of at least one year as a nurse practitioner, with substantial outpatient NP experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills suitable for dynamic patient care environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Strong organizational and self-direction capabilities to manage independent patient care responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with clinical quality improvement initiatives and performance enhancement in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient encounters and streamline workflows.
• A background in providing care in a concierge or house call medical service may be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $220,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a lucrative salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
