Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires an onsite presence, operating during regular business hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. You will be working in a dynamic environment that supports a culture of teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration. Our facility focuses on concierge medicine and house calls, allowing you to cultivate meaningful relationships with your patients and provide care in both familiar and new settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgement to accurately diagnose mental health conditions across varied demographics.
• Implement personalized medication management plans, closely monitoring treatment efficacy while adjusting prescriptions as necessary to enhance patient outcomes.
• Serve as a key collaborator with primary care providers and other health professionals, ensuring integrated care approaches that encompass both mental and physical health.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support to patients experiencing emotional distress, utilizing trauma-informed care techniques as appropriate.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives, sharing knowledge and resources to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma.
• Deliver therapeutic support through individual and family counseling, psychoeducation, and skill-building to empower patients toward recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive and secure patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, and age groups. Recognizing the complexity of mental health issues, you will tailor your interventions to address the unique needs and experiences of each patient, ensuring every individual feels seen and valued within their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing.
• Active state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with psychiatric certification.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret clinical data and health assessments.
• Exceptional communication abilities to effectively engage and connect with patients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a community health center or similar healthcare environment is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-informed care practices and cultural competence in mental health treatment.

Compensation and Benefits
