Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments, allowing for precise diagnoses of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, leveraging evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's specific needs and circumstances.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring their effectiveness, making necessary adjustments, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling sessions utilizing established therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to align treatment goals and approaches for robust patient support.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them in their recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including responses to therapy and medication, while maintaining comprehensive medical records.
• Conduct follow-up appointments to evaluate treatment efficacy and progression, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and clinical supervision sessions to foster continuous improvement in clinical practice and enhance care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits
