Key Responsibilities

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose a variety of mental health disorders.
• Providing medication management, including monitoring patient responses to treatment and making necessary adjustments.
• Collaborating closely with primary care providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop integrated care plans that address both mental and physical health needs.
• Delivering crisis intervention support and developing safety plans for patients experiencing acute emotional distress.
• Engaging in educational initiatives and community outreach programs designed to raise mental health awareness and destigmatize mental illness.
• Providing therapeutic support through individual counseling sessions and psychoeducation to help patients build coping strategies.
• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient records, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Compensation and Benefits
