Work Environment

This position is onsite, located at our state-of-the-art facility in Oyster Bay, where we embrace a culture of teamwork and holistic care. Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing comprehensive assessments and taking thorough medical histories to inform patient care decisions.
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic health conditions while ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as necessary.
• Formulating and implementing evidence-based treatment plans in coordination with collaborating physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Prescription of medications and management of therapeutic interventions, ensuring they align with best practices in healthcare.
• Providing education and guidance to patients and their families on treatment options, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications.
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions and healthcare activities using our advanced Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute insights and foster collaborative clinical decision-making.
• Ensuring compliance with all hospital policies and relevant state and federal regulations to maintain a high standard of care.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required to apply:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New York.
• Board certification in a relevant NP specialty such as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
• DEA license and appropriate prescriptive authority are essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for clinical documentation and patient management.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication abilities, and organizational skills are vital for success in this role.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role includes:

• A competitive salary ranging from $180,000.00 to $200,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience.
