We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our innovative primary care practice located in Hempstead, New York. Our team is comprised of 5 highly qualified physicians and 5 experienced nurse practitioners who collaborate closely to provide seamless care.

Work Environment

This position requires onsite work within a dynamic and supportive environment. You will engage with patients in residential settings, conducting house calls that allow for a comprehensive understanding of the individual patient’s health needs. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a balanced work-life equilibrium. With a yearly salary range of USD 130,000–150,000 dependent on experience, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package to enhance your professional journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations of patients and accurately interpret medical history and records.
• Order, analyze, and evaluate diagnostic tests including blood tests and imaging studies.
• Diagnose a range of health conditions from common colds to chronic illnesses, proposing appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and oversee patient medication regimens while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care practices.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation to support treatment decisions and outcomes.
• Promote healthy lifestyle choices through patient education and community outreach initiatives.
• Advance your clinical acumen by participating in ongoing education and research opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State, with ANP/FNP certification required.

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care or a related clinical setting.

Preferred Experience
