Our regular business hours facilitate a balanced work-life integration, with occasional weekend and on-call responsibilities as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your medical expertise to evaluate and treat patients, conducting thorough assessments and making informed diagnoses based on clinical evidence.
• Collaborate with case management to coordinate discharge planning and ensure comprehensive follow-up care for all patients.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement efforts, recommending and participating in initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care efficacy and cost-effectiveness.
• Accept and manage patient referrals from fellow physicians, serving as a consulting physician for those requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation that satisfies regulatory guidelines and insurance requirements, including managing appeals for denied claims.
• Participate in both inpatient and outpatient consultations, with a focus on specialty care, which may involve on-call duties as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will care for a diverse patient population, including adult and pediatric patients presenting with a wide array of medical conditions. Your work will be instrumental in providing timely and effective treatment for urgent health concerns, from acute injuries to chronic disease management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in a relevant field.
• A valid Physician Assistant license (PA-C) in New York State.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, coupled with a strong work ethic.
• A desire to thrive in a collaborative and performance-driven health system.
• A valid DEA number.
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant is required.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, previous experience in urgent care or emergency medicine will be considered a significant advantage. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in medical coding are also desirable attributes that can aid in your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $400,000 – $500,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
