Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art facility, which features a comprehensive outpatient infrastructure designed to support an efficient flow of patient care. You will typically work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with shifts that conclude by 5:00 pm. With a focus on outpatient care, your role will be essential in managing patient health in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and evaluate patients’ medical histories to inform clinical decision-making.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests (such as blood tests and imaging studies) to aid in accurate diagnosis.
• Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Manage treatment options for various diseases, including prescribing medications and recommending lifestyle changes.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventative healthcare strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare policies.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals, including five physicians and five nurse practitioners, to coordinate patient care and improve health outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and research initiatives to deepen clinical expertise and contribute to the advancement of best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Primary Care practice serves a diverse patient population, encompassing various ages and health backgrounds. You will be at the forefront of promoting health in individuals with chronic diseases, acute conditions, and preventative care needs, fostering relationships that encourage open dialogue and trust.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies is required, with a current California State Physician Assistant license.
• Must possess a valid Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credential.
• A DEA registration is required to prescribe medications.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in primary care, urgent care, internal medicine, cardiology, or emergency medicine.

• Additional language proficiency is a plus, enhancing communication with a wider patient demographic.

Compensation and Benefits
