Work Environment

This role is set onsite, within a school facility, allowing you to connect with a diverse population and address their dermatological needs directly. You will work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technologies, collaborating closely with leading dermatologists and a knowledgeable team of healthcare professionals. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one late shift per week and occasional Saturday hours based on patient demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, crafting detailed medical histories and performing skin examinations.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological conditions, both medical and cosmetic, ensuring evidence-based interventions.
• Execute cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections and dermal fillers with precision and care.
• Assist in skin cancer screenings, ensuring timely follow-up and post-operative care for patients.
• Offer personalized skincare advice and treatment plans to patients, focusing on individual needs and preferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, you will cater to a varied patient demographic within the school environment, addressing conditions ranging from acne to skin cancer. Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with specialization in dermatology or a family nurse practitioner program that incorporates dermatology coursework.
• Certification as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a dermatology setting is highly desirable, whether as a Nurse Practitioner or in a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 per year, dependent on experience and performance.
