Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and skin examinations, to identify dermatological conditions.
• Formulate diagnosis and treatment plans for various skin-related issues, ensuring medically and aesthetically appropriate care for each patient.
• Perform cosmetic procedures including, but not limited to, Botox injections, dermal fillers, and laser treatments while adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist with skin cancer screenings, as well as provide post-operative care and follow-up assessments to monitor treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on skin care routines, product use, and preventative measures tailored to individual skin types and conditions.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or an equivalent advanced nursing degree with specialization in dermatology, or completion of a family nurse practitioner program that includes coursework in dermatology.
• Possession of a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) credential from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB) is preferred.
• Active nursing license to practice in New York State.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work experience in a dermatology practice or a clinical setting focused on skin conditions, enhanced by training in cosmetic procedures, will be preferable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in performing cosmetic procedures, including Botox and dermal fillers, is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with patients and staff alike.

Compensation and Benefits
