You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art assisted living facility in Huntington, NY. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing detailed skin examinations.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological conditions, both medical—such as eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer—and cosmetic, including acne, anti-aging treatments, and skin rejuvenation.
• Perform cosmetic procedures, including Botox injections, dermal fillers, and laser treatments, while ensuring thorough patient education about the processes and anticipated outcomes.
• Assist in skin cancer screenings, performing biopsies when necessary, and provide high-quality post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery.
• Offer personalized skincare solutions, creating tailored treatment plans based on individual patient assessments and skin types.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals of all ages requiring treatment for various dermatological issues. You will engage with both medically-driven patients seeking essential treatments and clients looking for cosmetic improvements, fostering a welcoming atmosphere conducive to open discussions about their needs and concerns.

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with coursework or specialized training in dermatology or a family nurse practitioner program.
• Certification as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work experience in dermatology, with a focus on both clinical and cosmetic procedures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in administering FDA-approved cosmetic injections and familiarity with the latest dermatological technologies is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
