Executive Chef

We’re hiring an Executive Chef for Feerma Mediterranean Grill & Bar in Larkspur, California . This is a great fit for a creative culinary leader who thrives in upscale casual dining environments, has a passion for Mediterranean cuisine and live-fire cooking, and wants to help launch an exciting new restaurant concept from the ground up. What You’ll Do Lead all back-of-house kitchen operations Develop and execute seasonal Mediterranean-inspired menus Oversee food quality, consistency and presentation standards Hire, train and mentor kitchen staff Manage inventory, ordering and food cost controls Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization and health code compliance Collaborate with ownership on culinary direction and restaurant growth Help create memorable dining experiences through creative, fire-focused cuisine What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and live-fire cooking techniques Experience in high-volume upscale casual or chef-driven restaurants Leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate teams Understanding of food cost, labor management and kitchen systems Restaurant opening experience is a major plus Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Culinary or Hospitality education preferred Eligible to work in the U.S. Why You’ll Love Working Here Competitive salary with performance incentives Creative freedom and menu development opportunities 401(k), health insurance and paid time off Free employee meals Opportunity to help launch a brand-new restaurant concept Long-term growth potential within an expanding hospitality brand About the Workplace Feerma Mediterranean Grill & Bar is an upcoming upscale casual restaurant in Downtown Larkspur focused on Mediterranean grilling, North African flavors and California farm-to-table ingredients.
