Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mood disorders, including evaluating the frequency, intensity, and duration of symptoms, to inform treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their identification of goals and aspirations, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including narrative therapy, systems therapy, and communication therapies, to address the unique needs of each client.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and coping strategies to aid in their understanding and management of mental health issues.

• Monitor client progress on a regular basis, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary and documenting outcomes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage proactively with current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to provide evidence-based care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records, utilizing electronic health record systems effectively.

• Actively participate in consultations, interdisciplinary team meetings, and training sessions to enhance team effectiveness and therapeutic skills.

Our therapists work primarily with a diverse client base consisting of families, couples, and individuals experiencing mood disorders. You will be instrumental in addressing a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges, creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes healing and transformation.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
