This position is predominantly remote, providing you with the flexibility to create a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method.

• Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and diagnoses to inform treatment decisions, and conduct crisis interventions as necessary, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to client emergencies.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal confidentiality guidelines while actively participating in case reviews to enhance quality of care.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide integrated patient care and coordinate treatment approaches.

• Utilize culturally competent methods to engage and support clients from diverse backgrounds, adapting therapeutic approaches to fit their specific cultural contexts.

• Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and continuing education sessions to continuously improve your skills and contribute to enhanced client care.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LMFT license in the state of California is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

While the minimum experience required is 2 years, candidates with additional experience in specialized areas such as trauma-informed care, addiction counseling, and child and adolescent therapy will stand out. Experience working with diverse populations and multilingual abilities are also advantageous.
