We serve over 10,000 people each year with psychiatric and behavioral health care outpatient services, counseling, training, employment assistance, housing support, homeless outreach, children's mental health care and more.Hourly/Non-Exempt: $17.32 Full-Time, 40 Hour Work Week, Paid Bi-weeklyGeneral DescriptionUnder the supervision of the TCOOMMI Program Director, the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is responsible for performing moderately complex medical aide work. Responsibilities and functions include: obtaining reports and record from medical records or for med records; checking clients in and out of medical clinics, completing paperwork as required, and performs nursing functions as appropriate. Performs related work as assigned and trained. Maintain clear TCIC/NCIC background checks and driving record.Minimum QualificationsGraduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent is generally preferred. (GED) Experience and education may be substituted for one another. Attended a school and completion for Medical assistant Tech certification and met all required hours of on the job training. Minimum 1 year of experience in health care work. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.Must have reliable transportation. May use personal vehicle to conduct business. Must have a valid driver's license at all times, liability insurance and a good driving record.
