Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate client needs and determine appropriate interventions.

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage healing and growth.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute trauma responses or emotional distress.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma management techniques, resources, and support systems.

• Maintain detailed and confidential clinical documentation in line with established protocols and best practices.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions to foster a culture of learning and Peer support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily include individuals dealing with the repercussions of trauma, particularly those facing challenges associated with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a therapist at Behavioral Therapeutic Support, you will engage with a diverse patient population, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet their varied needs. You will work with individuals from different backgrounds, ages, and stages in their healing process, ensuring that your interventions are culturally competent and effectively tailored.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience post-licensure, particularly in trauma-informed care.

• Deep familiarity with trauma-specific therapies and models of care.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective rapport building with clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and remote counseling tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
