Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your education, training, and professional experience to conduct independent psychosocial assessments and diagnostics, identifying the unique needs of each student.

• Develop and implement individualized, patient-centered treatment plans in collaboration with students, parents, and educators, ensuring that each plan is tailored to meet the specific challenges faced by the student.

• Deliver behavioral interventions employing established and evidence-based techniques such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral strategies.

• Engage in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, educators, and health providers within the school, creating a comprehensive and integrated approach to student wellness.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress through in-person visits or telehealth sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on treatment outcomes.

• Support the management of psychotropic medications, providing crucial insights on treatment adherence and side effects while facilitating communication between patients and their prescribing healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve school-aged children and adolescents, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, and emotional disturbances. Your work will focus on empowering students to manage their mental health proactively, enhancing their social skills, and aiding their academic success. You will also work closely with families, educating them on mental health needs and available resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Colorado.

• At least one year of experience in a therapeutic setting, working with diverse populations, particularly within school or community environments.

Preferred Experience\n
