Job Description Human Resources Generalist — Bilingual (English/Spanish) Strongly Preferred Location: Danville, IL (Onsite) Salary: $65,000–$75,000 Bonus: Up to 10% Annual Performance Bonus Join a Growing Manufacturing Organization A well‑established global manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its leadership team at a flagship U.S. manufacturing facility. Given the makeup of our production workforce and the level of daily employee interaction this role requires, bilingual ability in English and Spanish is strongly preferred and will be given priority consideration. This is an outstanding opportunity for an HR professional looking to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while developing into a future HR leadership role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible on the manufacturing floor, building relationships with employees at all levels, and serving as a trusted business partner to plant leadership. What You'll Do Serve as the primary HR resource supporting daily plant operations Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and corrective actions Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Partner with leadership on workplace policies and HR best practices Support workers' compensation, leave administration, and HR compliance initiatives Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention efforts Utilize HRIS systems and Excel to maintain accurate employee records and reporting Foster a positive workplace culture through regular interaction with employees across all departments Spend significant time on the production floor supporting managers and employees, with Spanish-language communication being a significant advantage given our workforce Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, investigations, and HR compliance Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or production environments preferred Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, or similar systems Strong Microsoft Excel skills Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish) — significant advantage given the composition of our production workforce Union manufacturing experience Workers' Compensation and benefits administration experience Experience participating in HRIS implementations or system conversions Why This Opportunity? Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility to occasionally support different shifts as business needs require.
