Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate effectively with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to design and implement coordinated mental health treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Provide in-service training sessions to medical, psychiatric, and security staff, enhancing the understanding of mental health issues and interventions.

• Manage and defuse mental health emergencies through crisis intervention strategies, employing both verbal de-escalation techniques and immediate therapeutic interventions.

• Attend and represent the clinic at patient commitment hearings and related legal processes, ensuring accurate communication regarding patient care and progress.

• Develop thorough treatment plans and achievable goals for clients, assessing progress regularly and adapting strategies as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions and treatment interventions, adhering to all regulatory standards and organizational protocols.

• Verify and review patients' mental health histories, including their previous experiences with psychotropic medications, to inform ongoing treatment strategies.

• Prepare comprehensive reports as required, supplying insight into treatment efficacy and areas for further development.

• Coordinate post-release referrals and follow-up care in collaboration with nursing and mental health personnel, ensuring continuity of care.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 based on experience and qualifications, with an additional sign-on bonus available.
