Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, including their severity and impact on day-to-day life.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the distinct needs and goals of each client.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address and manage mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their mental health journey.

• Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on therapeutic outcomes and client feedback.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care.

• Remain informed on the latest research and treatment modalities in the field of mental health to ensure evidence-based practices are utilized.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans following legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and promote awareness surrounding the stigma of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be supporting individuals affected by various mood disorders, with an emphasis on fostering a therapeutic relationship that respects and prioritizes client individuality. You will work with a broad spectrum of clients, adapting your approach based on their unique backgrounds and personal experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Licensure in the state of Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required.
\n
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
\n
• A strong foundational understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes in treating clients with mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to relate to clients from varied cultural and social backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth setting is a plus, along with familiarity with digital health tools and platforms.
