Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing emotional and behavioral issues, ensuring timely and effective care.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to communicate patient progress, express professional concerns, and address potential challenges regarding treatment.

• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, reflecting adherence to organizational policies and state guidelines.

• Participate in the formulation of treatment plans and discharge strategies, utilizing psychosocial assessments and evidence-based social work interventions.

• Establish and nurture working relationships with community leaders and resource groups, representing Shirley Mental Health Services at meetings and committees aimed at improving the social support landscape for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and various behavioral issues. You will engage with a wide array of patients from different backgrounds, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs. Our focus is on fostering a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active independent license: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are proud to offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
