Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique needs of students, identifying their specific challenges and strengths.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote emotional well-being and effective integration into the school community.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for conditions such as ASD, learning disabilities, and trauma.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to nurture personal growth and equip students with coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with teachers, speech and occupational therapists, and families to ensure a holistic approach to care.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, remaining calm and focused to provide necessary support.

• Educate students and their families about mental health issues and available resources for support.
\n
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case discussions aimed at improving care outcomes for students.

• Stay current with new laws, regulations, and best practices in mental health care to provide informed and ethical care.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current LCSW licensure in the state of New Jersey.
