Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while you work from our hospice center. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that collaborates effectively to provide comprehensive mental health services to students. While the work schedule typically follows a Monday to Friday model from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts, rotating weekend requirements, and the need for on-call availability to support urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students with a range of special needs, providing insights into their emotional and behavioral health.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at fostering emotional well-being and successful integration into the educational community.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the unique challenges faced by students, including those with ASD, emotional and behavioral disorders, and ADHD.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping students develop coping strategies and improve emotional regulation.

• Collaborate closely with educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to deliver a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance is available.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources.

• Maintain precise documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring all assessments and treatment plans are thoroughly recorded.

• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with relevant practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required for this position.
