Work Environment

The role is located in our Newark facility, where our collaborative team works cohesively in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. The center operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life integration for our staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients to assess functional limitations and devise tailored treatment plans.
• Implement effective treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, contemporary healthcare practices, and individual patient presentations.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, progress summaries, and discharge plans that articulate treatment progression clearly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. This includes recognizing changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments in therapy or further medical consultations.
• Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations while fulfilling corporate and clinical service training requirements.
• Engage with patients not only in rehabilitation practices but in promoting overall wellness and prevention strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and initiatives aimed at enhancing access to therapy services and improving patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient centers serve a diverse client demographic, primarily focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation. Patients range from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults managing arthritis or post-surgical recovery. Each physical therapist is encouraged to build rapport with their patients, facilitating a supportive environment for healing. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is essential.
• A current CPR certification is necessary for ensuring patient safety.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of outpatient orthopedic experience, candidates with additional expertise in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy or sports medicine, will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits
