Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Newark, NJ, our clinic is an onsite facility that fosters collaboration and teamwork among healthcare professionals. You will work in a clean, well-equipped outpatient office environment designed for optimal patient comfort and safety. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique conditions and recovery goals, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities aimed at promoting physical well-being, pain relief, and improved overall health.
• Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercise techniques, equipping them with home fitness programs to support their recovery.
• Administer therapeutic modalities under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
• Prepare treatment areas by ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized and accessible for every therapy session.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, which includes Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, to develop comprehensive care plans and optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and motivation to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive atmosphere conducive to healing.
• Maintain adherence to ethical standards and patient confidentiality while respecting patient rights and privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population spans various age groups and medical backgrounds. As a Physical Therapist at Premier Health and Wellness Center, you will primarily assist patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and age-related mobility challenges. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.

• Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset to monitor patient progress.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with specialty training or certification in areas such as orthopedic or geriatric rehabilitation will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits
