Regain Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient unit in Newark, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to establish treatment plans based on specific orthopedic needs and prior medical history.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound.
• Monitor patient progress consistently and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimum results.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of assessment findings, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations as needed to address any changes in a patient's condition that may require collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct educational sessions with patients and their families to promote understanding of therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Regain Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, you will work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. This includes athletes, post-operative patients, and elderly clientele focusing on mobility, strength, and daily functioning. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers as per American Heart Association guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
