The Physical Therapist position is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in scenic Jacksonville, Florida. Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as a Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and individual symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and creating tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal recovery and mobility.
• Educating patients on the proper techniques for therapeutic exercises to maximize their rehabilitation outcomes.
• Applying manual techniques such as massage or stimulation to motivate healing and optimize physical function.
• Assisting patients in navigating rehabilitation equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance their independence.
• Maintaining meticulous records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure individualized care and consistency in treatment.
• Providing ongoing counsel to patients and their families regarding home treatment options and exercises to support recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a diverse patient demographic, encompassing children, adults, and seniors with various physical challenges. Players within our clinic range from those recovering from surgery to athletes rehabilitating from injuries, as well as seniors seeking to maintain mobility. Your ability to adapt treatment styles to meet the unique needs of each patient will be fundamental to their recovery journey.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear interactions with patients and healthcare team members.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other software systems relevant to patient care.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to therapy, showcasing agility in responding to the ever-changing needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should ideally have at least 2 years of experience in physical therapy practice, with exposure to a variety of patient conditions. Experience in outpatient settings, including rehabilitation centers or sports therapy facilities, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a generous benefits package. This includes:
