Financial Reporting Accountant

Role Overview Our client is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to support financial reporting and general ledger accounting, including consolidations and eliminations, within a multiple entity organization. Key Responsibilities Assist in quarterly and annual financial reporting activities, including preparation of GAAP basis financial statements Support the consolidations process, including intercompany eliminations, reconciliations, and tie outs across a complex legal entity structure Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entry preparation and review Assist in financial statement audit preparation and manage audit deliverables Collaborate with cross functional teams on technical accounting issues and special projects Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency What We Look For Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written correspondence Highly driven with problem solving abilities, integrity, and strong work ethic Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment Ability to work effectively within a rapidly changing organization Demonstrated collaborative partnerships with peers, management, and vendors Resourcefulness and polite persistence Minimum Qualifications Two plus years of professional experience in accounting, experience in the renewable energy industry preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field CPA license preferred Proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in Excel Experience with accounting ERP platforms, NetSuite preferred Ability to travel up to 25% Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship #J-18808-Ljbffr Root Edge
