Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, capabilities, and limitations, setting attainable goals in alignment with their recovery objectives.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices, tailoring interventions to each patient's specific age, development, and needs as prescribed by physicians.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care, including evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Supervise the activities of Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship to facilitate optimal patient outcomes and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists—to coordinate and enhance care delivery.
