Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this role allows for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will utilize telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions, ensuring that you can provide quality care to clients in the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that address their specific mental health goals and aspirations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Monitor client progress through regular check-ins and assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure integrated care for clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapy effectiveness.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, team meetings, and case consultations to foster a supportive community within the organization.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, challenging stigmas and barriers to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing mood disorders, including depression and anxiety. Our diverse client population includes adults from various backgrounds, each experiencing unique challenges. You will apply your expertise to assess their needs and guide them toward healthier coping strategies and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Proven ability to build trusting, therapeutic relationships with clients through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental approach in supporting clients' experiences and emotional struggles.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle a varied caseload and administrative responsibilities.
