Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health to accurately identify their needs and develop tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Deliver individualized therapy services using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to address a spectrum of mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with case managers and fellow health professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure seamless coordination of care, maintaining a holistic approach for addressing clients' needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress by utilizing effective communication and intervention skills, ensuring their safety and emotional stability during emergencies.

• Engage in community outreach efforts and educational initiatives that promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage proactive mental health management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse clientele from various cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a mental health therapist at Resilient Waves, you will work with individuals facing conditions ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and family-related issues, allowing you to enhance your clinical skills and cultural competence while significantly contributing to the community's mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• An independent and active license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport and cultivate trusting therapeutic relationships with a wide range of clients.

• Awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences, complemented by the ability to employ culturally relevant therapeutic strategies.

Preferred Experience\n
