Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload and establishing positive, trust-based relationships with clients while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular meetings to assess client progress, stabilize treatment plans, and prepare for discharges when appropriate.
\n
• Developing personalized treatment strategies and ensuring their implementation and monitoring.
\n
• Maintaining timely and accurate client progress notes and documentation, in compliance with organizational policies.

• Conducting thorough intake assessments to assess mental health needs and create effective treatment plans.
\n
• Providing individual and group therapy sessions weekly, fostering an open and safe dialogue with clients.

• Engaging in regular supervision to enhance your clinical skills and maintain high professional standards.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on youth and young adults, addressing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Understanding the unique complexities of this population is crucial, as your work will empower them to express their feelings and develop constructive coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical practice.

• Essential proficiency in using technology for record-keeping and client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, previous experience of at least one year working with psychiatric and substance-abuse populations is preferred. Additionally, familiarity with individual, family, and group therapy techniques, as well as proven assessment and diagnostic skills, will be beneficial in meeting the diverse needs of our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
