Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions to devise appropriate treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities, to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Continuously assess patient progress and modify treatment strategies as required, ensuring optimal results in rehabilitation.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously, tracking patient responses and progress to maintain compliance and contribute to quality care initiatives.
• Engage with patients and their families in educational sessions to empower them in their recovery, focusing on self-management strategies and preventive measures.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide an integrated approach to patient care, ensuring seamless communication across disciplines.
• Stay current in the field by attending relevant workshops, reviewing the latest literature, and participating in professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult and geriatric patients suffering from orthopedic issues, including post-operative care for joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Our approach is centered on personalized care, helping each patient regain mobility and achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will also have the chance to interact with their families, providing guidance and support tailored to each unique situation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) through the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating competence in treatment modalities.
• Current CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a rehabilitation center or outpatient clinic focusing on orthopedic conditions is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic tools commonly used in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with patient education and community outreach initiatives.
