Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily based onsite within our cutting-edge rehabilitation facility in Winter Haven. You will work collaboratively in a supportive environment alongside two experienced physical therapists and a skilled physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to promoting optimal patient health.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their individual goals and requirements.
• Manage a structured caseload, providing one-on-one care to patients at a rate of one individual per hour.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices and innovative therapy techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery and ensure maximal range of motion.
• Create tailored exercise regimens aimed at improving physical strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Contribute to the reduction of medication reliance by exploring non-invasive therapeutic alternatives.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of treatment strategies, adjusting plans as necessary based on progress and feedback.
• Document all patient interactions and care services in a clear, thorough manner using EMR software, specifically WebPT.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, instilling confidence and promoting a proactive approach to health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Strong familiarity with EMR software, ideally WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
