Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Opportunity in Winter Haven, FL

Work Environment

The work setting is an onsite outpatient office equipped with advanced rehabilitation equipment and ample space for individual and group therapy sessions. Our facility spans 5000 square feet and is designed to provide a comfortable and inspiring atmosphere for both patients and staff. The office operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance for our caregivers. You will be joining a dedicated team of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom share a passion for improving patients' functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their needs and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer effective rehabilitation therapies that enhance patients' range of motion, strength, flexibility, and overall mobility.
• Maintain an average caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused attention and tailored interventions.
• Document all services and patient progress accurately and maintain clear communication with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Promote a proactive approach to health by educating patients on wellness and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery.
• Regularly evaluate patient outcomes, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Engage with patients throughout their treatment journey, providing motivation and support to encourage adherence to therapy and exercises.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our practice is on individuals with orthopedic conditions, relying heavily on those with private medical insurance. Our patients benefit from personalized care that addresses a wide range of issues, including post-surgical rehab, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. This role is crucial in helping our clients regain their physical function and achieve their personal fitness goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Experience in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting, with a track record of delivering exceptional patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
