Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to efficiently identify and understand the specific objectives and needs of each patient.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated attention and personalized care.
• Develop and implement effective care plans integrating various treatment techniques aimed at enhancing mobility and reducing pain.
• Utilize manual therapy and therapeutic modalities to improve patient outcomes and promote recovery.
• Design and execute individualized fitness and wellness programs based on patient assessments and goals.
• Monitor progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and maintain ongoing communication with patients and healthcare providers.
• Document all patient care services accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Educate patients on preventive measures and promote a healthy lifestyle to optimize their physical health.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies for patients.
• Encourage motivation and active participation from patients throughout their rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation, and those seeking preventative therapies to enhance their overall physical health. Our patient population generally includes individuals with varying degrees of injury, from athletes to retirees, all with a shared goal of achieving a higher level of function.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist is essential.
• Strong professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Solid expertise in manual therapy techniques, with the ability to apply them effectively in practice.
• Proficient in developing, implementing, and adjusting exercise protocols tailored to meet specific patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings focused on orthopedics.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in creating and maintaining detailed treatment documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
