Work Environment

Located onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Winter Haven, Florida, you will be part of a supportive team in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. The clinic is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies to facilitate effective rehabilitation practices. Working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM allows for both structured therapy sessions and the flexibility needed to meet patient demands. As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate with various healthcare professionals, enhancing both patient outcomes and your professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations for patients, particularly those with orthopedic conditions, ensuring a holistic understanding of their needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and physical capabilities, incorporating evidence-based practices.
• Regularly monitor and reassess patients, using clinical signs and symptoms to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary modifications to the care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation through our electronic health record system, including SOAP notes, progress reports, and treatment summaries.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes, outlining potential challenges and progress expectations to foster understanding and involvement.
• Work towards meeting targeted utilization goals and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Serve as an ambassador of our clinic's values, promoting a culture of care, compassion, and collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.
• Proficient in performing patient evaluations and delivering therapy treatments, with flexibility to provide telehealth services as deemed appropriate.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, showcasing cultural competence and sensitivity.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, essential for engaging with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy is highly desirable, particularly in a variety of clinical settings.
• Familiarity with current treatment methodologies and rehabilitation protocols for orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
