Work Environment

As an Onsite Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our Rehabilitation Center in Winter Haven, you will find yourself in a collaborative and supportive setting. You will work alongside a committed team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, dedicated to an integrated care model. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations for patients with orthopedic conditions, including assessment of pain, mobility, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices and focus on each patient's unique rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize advanced treatment modalities and techniques, adapting methodologies as necessary based on patient response and progress.
• Regularly reassess clinical signs and symptoms to evaluate treatment effectiveness, ensuring timely modifications to care plans as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation through our electronic health record system, including SOAP notes, progress reports, and care plans, to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide education to patients and their families about injury prevention, recovery processes, and home exercise programs to facilitate the healing journey.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and contribute to the clinic's business objectives while upholding high standards of patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients receiving multiple therapy services, ensuring an integrated approach to care.
• Act as a champion of the clinic's culture and core values, promoting teamwork and a positive environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on treating a diverse client base, including children and adults with a range of orthopedic injuries and conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A current and unrestricted license by the Florida Board of Physical Therapy to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in orthopedic therapy is advantageous, with a strong understanding of treatment methodologies and patient care standards.

Compensation and Benefits
